Dear PRaabhu:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila PRabhupada

Gaura Purnim is approaching and we´ve been going through the rehearsals,

preparing the costums, etc.

Yesterday the devotees were becoming a bit nervous about the mood of each

character.

The fact that Gauridas is called Pandit was indicating that he was not a

sannyasi although it seems that he had a desciple.

The way I´ve understood the pastime is that Hridayananda was an enthusiastic

devotee, bold although humble, submissive and pure.

Gauridas Pandit was a grihastha, as you told me (Adipurusa Prabhu). He must

have been also a great devotee of the LOrd aswell since he had the personal

assotiation of Gauranga and Nityananda, and the deities that he was

worshiping played amazing pastimes.

The devotee who is playing Gauridas Pandit has a little difficulty in

expressing devastation when he finally has to agree to the fact that

Chaitanya and Nityananda had to leave.

Am I understanding this properly? Was he feeling devastation?

The story is that the Deities would come out of the altar dancing and then

the original Lords Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu would become

Deities. Stone for the stone like heart.

So, what was the emotion?

Your servant,

Mahalaksmi dasi
