I just heard on a recorded lecture of Jayadvaita Maharaja a pastime from NY

circa 1968 wherein Srila Prabhupada arranged the marriage of a girl disciple

about 18 years old, whose mother objected that her daughter was too young to

marry, that she should first gain some experience and then decide. Srila

Prabhupada commented, "Just see, she wants her daughter to become a

prostitute."
