your servant

Devotees often sign their letters with "Your servant" such and such. For

example:

 

Your servant,

Mahat-tattva dasa

 

 

But in a sense it doesn't make much sense as the word "dasa" means a

servant. So the translation would be:

 

Your servant,

Mahat-tattva servant

 

 

Would it be more appropriate to write:

 

dasa, Mahat-tattva

 

 

or simply:

 

Mahat-tattva dasa

 

 

What are your thoughts about this or did Srila Prabhupada ever say anything

in this regard? Any examples from sastra or previous acaryas?
