Guest guest
Normally in this material creation dharma is misused for egoistic purposes. Mostly to get something or to be relieved of something. According to NOD this witch of mukti is much worse (this means standing in our way to suddha bhakti) Most of the people expect only peace of mind as a result of their spiritual endeavor. But this kind of god consciousness is not pleasing to our Lord. ahaituky apratihat€ yay€tm€ supras…dati "Such devotional service must be unmotivated and uninterrupted to completely satisfy the self." (SB 1.2.6) In Radha rasa sudha nidhi (211) Srila Prabhodananda Sarasvati is praying: "O Sri Radhe! When can I live in paravyoma-Vrindavana in total devotional anxiety (of seva bhava)?" By having the concept of just being relieved of any anxiety one will not understand real bhakti. (It would not be anyabhilasitam sunya. It would be bhakti mixed with the contamination of liberation) Bhakti of course gives - as a side effect - also this material peace of mind, but a sadhaka is not aspiring for it (it is not his sankalpa), rather he wants complete devotional anxiety.
