Guest guest
It appears that the soul can exist even through the bones, as shown by the personal example of Hiraëyakaçipu. When great yogés are in samadhi, even when their bodies are buried and their skin, marrow, blood and so on have all been eaten, if only their bones remain they can exist in a transcendental position. Very recently an archaeologist published findings indicating that Lord Christ, after being buried, was exhumed and that he then went to Kashmir. There have been many actual examples of yogés’ being buried in trance and exhumed alive and in good condition several hours later. A yogé can keep himself alive in a transcendental state even if buried not only for many days but for many years. ============ REF. SB 7.3.18 them. Allen Ginsberg: According to the Aquarian Gospel, Christ was in Jagannätha Puré? Prabhupäda: Yes. And he saw Ratha-yäträ, and there is, name of Kåñëa is there. ============ REF. Room Conversation with Allen Ginsberg -- May 13, 1969, Columbus, Ohio Harikeça: I think he was also the same one who was saying the Aquarian Gospel was just somebody’s dream. Prabhupäda: Yes, but you are also dreaming. Why do you claim that your dream is all right; his dream is wrong? Dreaming is wrong. If his dream is wrong—you are also dreaming—you are also wrong. Why do you claim that your dream is all right? That is nonsense. Everyone thinks that he is right and everyone is wrong. We do not think like that. We take the words of the authority, that’s all. Or we have no respect(?). This is our program. That is the way of paramparä. Not only we accept, but our previous äcäryas, all the big, big äcäryas, they have accepted. Çukadeva Gosvämé said. He is äcärya. ============ REF. Morning Walk -- October 26, 1975, Mauritius Prabhupäda: So if you don’t accept Aquarian Gospel authority, who cares for your Bible? At least Aquarian Gospel has been written by some Christian. It is not outsider. Harikeça: They say he was a drunk. Prabhupäda: But you are a mad. He is drunk, and you are mad. Where is the difference? So, if we can go? ============ REF. Morning Walk -- October 26, 1975, Mauritius Tamäla Kåñëa: You remember in that book you were reading, The Aquarian Gospel. It mentioned how he learned yoga when he came to India. Prabhupäda: We admit. Guru Mahäräja said çaktyäveça-avatära, powerful incarnation. Therefore whenever there was question of Jesus, I never disrespected Jesus. Never criticized him, because I know that he is powerful representative of God. We took it from Guru Mahäräja. Tamäla Kåñëa: Your Guru Mahäräja would sometimes... Prabhupäda: He said that Christ is çaktyäveça-avatära, as Buddha. How he can be otherwise? He sacrificed everything for God. He cannot be ordinary man. ============ REF. Room Conversation with Ram Jethmalani (Parliament Member) -- April 16, 1977, Bombay
