Guest guest
Srimad Bhagavatam was composed after the event in Naimisaranya. Bhagavatam was already in the mind of Srila Vyasadeva even before he met Srila Narada Muni, but had not been written down. We should not be so concerned about the dates. Many events happened five thousand years ago, but as Vaisnavas are only concerned with the essence, but not so much with the details of the time. For example, Sukadeva Goswami was described to be about sixteen years old when he spoke Bhagavatam to Pariksit Maharaja, but the reality is that Sukadeva Goswami was much older than Pariksit Maharaja, and was a contemporary of the Pandavas. He was present on the battlefield of Kuruksetra when Bhismadeva was given his final instructions.
