The following question was asked by a member of congrgation. I would appreciate if someone can enlighten me on this subject. "When we offer food to the Lord, we always place a tulasi leaf on it. While honouring the Prasadam, the tulasi leaf is served to somebody. However, recently I was told that tulasi leaf should never be chewed. I would be grateful, if you enlighten me on this. Can Tulasi leaf be offered to Vishnu Tatva Deity pictures at home? " Thanks for your help.
