I'm not sure what its proper name is.

Sri Nagar Kirtan

 

1) nadiya-godrume nityananda mahajana

patiyache nam-hatta jibera karana

 

2) (sraddhavan jan he, sraddhavan jan he)

prabhu ajnay, bhai, magi ei bhika

bolo 'krsna', bhajo krsna, koro krsna-sikha

 

3) aparadha-sunya ho'ye loha krsna-nam

krsna mata, krsna pita, krsna dhana-pran

 

4) krsnera samsara koro chari' anacar

jibe doye, krsna-nam ---- sarba-dharma-sara

 

Translation

 

1) In the land of Navadwip, on the Island of Godruma, the magnanimous

Lord Nityananda has opened a marketplace of the Holy Name for the

deliverance of all fallen souls.

 

2) O men of faith! O men of faith! By the order of Lord Gauranga, O

brothers, I beg this one request: chant "Krsna!", serve and worship

Krsna, and learn about Krsna.

 

3) Chant the Holy Name of Krsna without offense. Krsna is our mother,

Krsna is our Father, and Krsna is the treasure of our life.

 

4) Giving up all material contamination, carry on your worldly duties,

but in relation to Krsna. Showing compassion to all fallen souls by

loudly chanting the Holy Name of Krsna is the essence of all forms of

religion.

instructions.

3) Being careful to remain free of offenses, just take the holy name of
