Guest guest Posted March 28, 2002 Report Share Posted March 28, 2002 I just heard that according to one Sri Vaisnava scholar Hanuman should not be depicted holding a club as there is no mention of such in Valmiki Ramayana. Does anyone have any sastric insights on this or from previous acaryas? Did Srila Prabhupada ever mention this? Hanuman on the altar in ISKCON Juhu has a club.
