I thank you Prabhuji for a very good writeup on mother Durga.

Also my understanding is:

Mukunda, Krishna is the *only* giver of true liberation. No one else other

than Krishna can give true liberation.

There are different definitions of mukti or liberation.

1. Impersonalist liberation. Means to merge into Brahman effulgence. sayujya

Mukti.

2. Personalist liberation. --- salokya, samipya, sarupya and sarsti.

3. Devotional liberation ---- means to give up all false bodily designations

and be situated in one's original constitutional position. Original

constitutional position is to be servant of Krishna. (Jivera Svarupa Hoi

Krishnera Nitya Dasa).

By worshipping Durga or Siva one may merge into Brahman effulgence. This kind

of mukti (liberation of impersonalist)is considered hellish condition by

devotees.

The personalist liberation and devotional liberation cannot be given by any

one else other than Mukunda Lord Krishna.

A devotee is neither interested in impersonalist liberation nor in personalist

liberation. He is only interested in being a servant or dasa of Krishna or

even dasanudasa of Krishna.

Please correct me if this my understanding is wrong.

Your humble servant,

Bhadra Govinda Das.
