Guest guest
>So, we should not divert our attention to other forms of the Lord, like >Vishnu. We should not be interested in them. This is the clear conclusion >here. Ummm, sure. And Rama and Narasimha as well. Don't divert your attention. When our attention is towards maya, is it a diversion to turn to Vishnu? When someone who is not liberated makes statements such as "we aren't interested in the four handed form of the Lord", etc., it is meaningless and a lie. "We aren't even interested in attaining Vaikuntha", but we want a nice clean room to stay. "When I think of sex life I want to spit..." and then you see him with three children. Why repeat like parrots? These are the personal statements of liberated souls. Perhaps you have attained the stage of ruci and you are no longer interested in Vishnu, but unfortunate people like myself look for any mercy I can get, whether it comes from Vishnu, Krishna, or any other form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is one without a second. To advise people heavily conditioned by maya such as myself to not be interested in Vishnu is not a good advice, even if it was the personal view of a liberated soul. Because they are so absorbed in Krishna, they have no attraction for any other form. Next someone will tell me that they aren't even interested in Krishna's Dvaraka form, nor His Mathura form.
