All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Can you please help me with 2 enquiries? Firstly, it is said that happiness and distress should be tolerated/ignored. I have also heard it said that Krsna may bestow us with bliss, even as sadhakas, by way of encouragement. This can be an indication that we are following the path of sadhana bhakti correctly and can lead to increased surrender. Is it possible to distinguish between periods of happiness that might be due to some previous good deed and the feelings of bliss granted by the Lord? Secondly, in the fourth canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, in anger, lord Siva generates Virabhadra. In Srila Prabhupada's purpourt 4.5.4. he writes : "...the struggle for existence between different material qualities is always present. This quarrel between Lord Siva and Bhrgu muni, centering around prajapati Daksa, is the practical example of such competition between the different qualitative modes of material nature". According to your understanding of this purpourt and the lila in general, was lord Siva acting transcendentally?
