The source of my information was Sri Saci Kumar Prabhu, ISKCON Mayapur's top

bhajan wallah. He said that it was written by Hazibullah Islam (sp?) a

famous Muslim poet. Since I mentioned this to Goswami Maharaja, others have

expressed a doubt that it could have been written by a karmi, but no one has

any definitive information. It would be a good topic for further research.

Your servant, Bhaktarupa Das
