> Prabhupada: Sanskrit. Sanskrit is a language which is mother of all

> languages. Sanskrit, S-a-n-s-k-r-i-t, Sanskrit language. So this is the

> The main pillar of the Sanskrit-centric ideology is the Mother Sanskrit

What is the motivation of these people? If it is the same site I visited a

few months ago it is rather malevalent with a heavy Naxalite, Maoist leaning

as in demonic. More below....

In the shad darshans the 5th is the Purva Mimamsa (aka Karma-mimamsa) of

Jaimini Rsi. According to Ramanujacarya's Sribhashya one cannot understand

the Vedanta Sutra (aka the Uttara Mimamsa) until one has studied the Purva

Mimamsa.

In the 1st chapter 3rd pada of the Purva Mimamsa Jaimini gives many

arguments regarding the eternal, divine nature of the Vedas and their

constituent mantras. According to Mimamsa doctrine the Vedas are

Apurushaya--without material cause. In Purva Mimamsa 1.3.24-31 Jaimini

demonstrates that Sanskrit is the origin of all languages and that all other

languages have arisen from the mispronunciation of Sanskrit.

Considering that Mimamsa Sastra is very old, Krsna Himself as Vysadeva wrote

the Uttara Mimamsa after Jaimini compiled his Karma Mimamsa. This would

suggest that in the Vedic worldview Sanskrit has always been held as the

origin of all other languages. We therefore need not consider contemporary

academic support when we find such ancient support in the Mimamsa Sastras.
