I had problems with the congregation about the break fast... as it use to be

half day then two years ago we changed it but no explaination. One expert

pandit from vhp came and said the thiti falls at midday, the sun is at its

strongest at midday and as Lord Rama appeared at that time we should honour

his birth with offering a feast to Him, as we do with Janmashtami or Gauri

Purnima. This is how it is celebrated in Ayodhya.. Half day fast.
