Late Satya yuga, I believe. As I remember, each yuga (going backwards) is 10

times the length of previous. So:

Kali 435,000

Dvarpara 4,350,000

Treta 43,500,000

Satya 435,000,000

By the way, this is not the normal order of the yugas. It is like this only

in this particular yuga cycle. Normally, the order is Satya, Dvarpara

(second), Treta (third), Kali.

Your servant,

As far as I remember, each Yuga you add 435,000 onto each consecutively

Any offers on that?

Actually, the length of the yuga's double. The total of the four yugas (a

maha-yuga) is ten times that of the Kali-yuga.

Satya-yuga 1,728,000 human years

Treta-yuga 1,296,000 human years

Dvapara-yuga 864,000 human years

Kali-yuga 432,000 human years

====================================

Maha-yuga 4,320,000 human years

One thousand maha-yugas make one day of Brahma (a kalpa). His night is

equally long. He lives 100 years of 360 days. So his total lifespan, which

is also the lifespan of the universe, comes to:

4,320,000 x 1000 x 2 x 360 x 100 = 311,040,000,000,000 human years

I have heard something like this before, but have never found any sastric

evidence for it. Everywhere I have searched the order appears as Satya,

Treta, Dvapara, Kali.

Someone once explained that the yugas are name like the four-faced dice

used in Vedic times. Kali is the loosing face, the second one up is

Dvapara, the third one up Treta, and the winning face is Krta or Satya.

This supposedly comes from the Mahabharata.

Is there anyone who knows more about this reversion of the yugas?

Haribol.
