Suggestion for a conference on analogies and stories

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

This is bhakta pramod from ISKCON Bombay(Juhu). I am (trying to)serve as a

preacher in ISKCON YOUTH FORUM, Bombay wherien we preach to college students

and youths in general.

 

As we all know analogies and stories make preaching very effective,

enlivening and makes difficult spiritual topics easy to understand. However

if you would agree, it is difficult for a preacher to remember appropriate

analogies and stories at the right time.Second thing is whether the stories

and analogies are correct/bonafide or not. Sometimes we also have analogies

of our own etc. manufactured at the spur of the moment etc.

 

So it is my humble suggestion/question whether we could have a conference on

analogies and stories. The benefits are that all preachers across the world

in ISKCON can easily get a collection of correct/bonafide analogies and

stories with references/corroborations from Sastra and this in my humble

opinion will certainly enhance the preaching of both beginners and others.
