Guest guest Posted September 28, 2001 Report Share Posted September 28, 2001 I feel what is the spirit of Srila bhaktivinod thakur's purport is that just feeding prasadam or donating to vaisnavas without a desire to progress in krishna consciousness is smarta karmakaanda..if one feeds prasaadam in mode of goodness or passion or ignorence (3rd canto s.b 9*3=27; 27*3=81)..i feel that is not vaisnava seva.. but if one feeds a vaisnava in trancendental consciuosness or in platform of puregoodness ,then it is surely vaisnava seva..nirdosam samam brahma tasmat brahmani te stitah..
