Guest guest
I don't want bad `cows' in the mission. Concerning the (Gaudiya) mission, Om Visnupada Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada said, "If there is no good soul in the mission I don't want it. I don't want bad `cows' in the mission. If there are some bad `cows' who harm others I don't like them, and there is no need for them. One `cow' is sufficient if it is a good one, `dusta goru chaye khali gohal bhalo - Better to have an empty cowshed than a troublesome cow'. We want living source not so-called sannyasis. If our mission will not flourish with living source then stone and brick we'll distribute to the poor. Rent out the temple to the poor. Rent it out. Distribute the bricks for one rupee each!" This was said in Baghbazaar when many devotees were fighting amongst themselves. "Koriachalam sannyasi hoy gelo bilasi - I've made them sannyasis but they've simply become sense enjoyers," he would say many times. >From HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami's notes on SBSST
