This info comes from a compilation of Vaishnava biographies allegedly done

by O.B.L. Kapoor. File A-1-20.doc gives as sources for Advaita Acarya's bio

three works - GPC,CCU,GVA. GVA is the famous Gaudiya Vaishnava Abhidhana by

Haridasa Dasa of Haribol Kutir (Navadvipa). Author of CCU, Caitanya-Caritera

Upadana, is Bengali scholar Biman Bihari Majumdar. GPC I can't unfortunately

identify although it - with the other two - is one of the main sources.

The bio account quotes from Advaita Prakasa and suggests it as a further

reference.

A.17. ADVAITA (ACARYA PRABHU):

He is a disciple of Madhavendra Puri, and constitutes one of the

figures amongst the Pancatattva. In an earlier incarnation he was Lord

Siva. He was born in a varendra brahmana family on the seventh day of the

bright fortnight in the month of Magha, 1355 Saka (1433 AD.), in the village

named Lauda in Srihatta.

According to Bangabhasa O Sahitya, Advaita Prabhu was born in 1434

AD. and met Vidyapati in 1458 AD. (...)

> Prabhupada says that Advaita Prabhu was older than Jagannath Mishra, but

> that's about the only specific thing I found from the Vedabase in this

Only this is available from the above mentioned files:

53.JAGANNATHA MISRA (PURANDARA):

He was the father of Lord Caitanya. Jagannatha Misra was the fifth son of

Upendra Misra and one of the grandsons of Madhu Misra (Premavilasa 24). He

was Sri Nanda in Vrajalila. Jagannatha Misra was the embodiment of

Sarvavasudeva-tattva or Sarvasuddha-tattva. (See also CBh. 1.2.136-138;
