lavanga elaci-bija--uttama rasa-vasa

tulasi-manjari saha dila mukha-vasa

TRANSLATION

Sri Advaita Acarya fed the two Lords cloves and cardamom mixed with tulasi

flowers. Thus there was a good flavor within Their mouths.

I suppose that Lord Caitanya chewed on it to have a "good flavour in his

mouth". Maybe somebody who speaks Bengali can exam this sloka, to see if it

says that.
