Dear Mahamantra Prabhu,

The story is found in the Chandogya Upanishad 4.4.1-5, and Satyakama

continues to be mentioned up to 4.10.1. But the most famous part, the one

where Satyakama honestly tells Gautama that he has no clue who his father

was, is told in 4.4.1-5. The name of the boy's mother was JabAlA and she

told him that he could speak of himself as being Satyakama JAbAla.
