Acala means immovable. Just like, we cannot move the soul even if heart may be replaced by heart transplant surgery. The same soul is still there, in the new heart, in the same body. That means in a body, the soul is fixed, in one place, that is, it is in the heart. Only at death, the soul moves, and again is fixed in another body. It is again acala in that new body. Some one else may have more info on this. Your humble servant, Bhadra Govinda Dasa.
