Here is my question with Ekanath P.'s answer: > Hiranyakasipu is said to spend "divya-samah satam", hundred celestial > years, in meditation near the Mandara mountain. Before leaving he begot > Prahlada. Narada then saved Hiranyakasipu's pregnant wife Kayadhu from the > demigods and took her to his asrama. When Prahlada was five years old > Hiranyakasipu was already back and tried to kill him. > > This time scale difference (100 divya years vs. 5 years) means Narada must > live in one of the top lokas. Do we have any specific info where his > Narayana-asrama (SB 10.10.23) lies? Prahlada did not take birth during the absence of Hiranyakasipu: SB 7.7.14 "My mother, being pregnant, desired the safety of her embryo and desired to give birth after her husband’s arrival. Thus she stayed at Narada Muni’s asrama, where she rendered service unto Narada Muni with great devotion." Since that was her desire, it came to pass, either by her husband's austerity or by Narada's mercy or by the influence of the place. ---- Hope this helps ys bh.
