Guest guest Posted September 21, 2003 Report Share Posted September 21, 2003 Of all the angas or limbs of bhakti, the svarupa laksana, full dependence on Krsna is the number one. Ultimately in our deepest state things are based on how much we are understanding and realizing this. All the maya that is surrounding us has to do with the opposite, i.e. how much we have fallen away from understanding this full dependence on Krsna. Because Krsna is all-loving He has given us His Holy Name. He has given us this winning formula – that we should be fully dependent on the Lord for everything. The degree that we are dependent on the Lord is the degree that He will manifest His glories within our lives. The principle that is existing at all times is that everything is resting on the Lord, and the choices we make and the desires we have, then produce what we deserve. So the greatest expression of freedom, in the most exalted and profound way, is to use one's freedom and choose to offer everything to Krsna.---------By H.H.
