Guest guest
kva jano yam ativa pamarah kva durapam rati bhagbhir apy adah iyam ullalayaty ajarjara gurur uttarsa dhura tathapi mam "Where am I, a very wicked soul in this mortal world. And where is this wonderful love, that is rarely attained even by great devotees? Still I am agitated by strong hope for attaining this!" (Utkallika Vallari 26) This hope is nectar and is the support of life. jala vina yeno mina, dukha paya ayu hina "I feel so miserably that I could die - like a fish out of water." One can just sit in the marketplace of mercy and get ones spiritual aspiration fulfilled by paying the price of having a feeling of dearth.... Although Bhagavatam is saying: €€ hi paramaˆ duƒkhaˆ nair€yaˆ paramaˆ sukham ============ REF. SB 11.8.44 "To have hopes towards this world is undoubtedly the cause of the greatest unhappiness, and freedom from such hopes is the cause of the greatest happiness." But this intense asa (hope) should just be put towards prayojana tattva.
