SKANDA PURANA- Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the tulasi tree ,wich can immediately vanquish volumes of sinful activities.Simply by seeing or touching this tree one can become relieved from all distresses and diseases.Simply by offering obeisances to and pouring water on the tulasi tree, one can become freed from the fear of the being sent to the court of Yamaraja.if someone sows a tulasi tree somewhere, certainly he becomes devoted at the lotus feet of Krsna.Whwn the tulasi leaves are offered in devotion at the lotus feet of Krsna there is the full development of love of Godhead. Guest guest
Dear Isani dd: Pamho, all the glories to SP. Thank you very much for answering me. I'm caring two beautifull Tulasi trees from about one year ago. They are healthy by Lord Krsna's mercy, but not long ago, they were infected with "acaros" and one nice devotee send me a natural poison to deal with it. I would like to have it back, may be you know, if I'm not wrong it was about something of soap and others. I read the Tulasi book of worshipping, but there aren't details of how to deal with daily care. Here in Mendoza, summer is hot. about 35ºC and warm during the night. but winter are cold 0ºC and even less. My Tulasi trees lives always inside... I have a bigg hall, full of light even at almost 0900 pm (in summer), with big windows that are open 24 hs daily in summer. I know that Srimati Tulasi devi likes the sun, but I'm always afraid to take her outside to the garden because some leaves may fall and I will not see them... any advice I will aprecciatte it. Thank you very much, Ys, Sridhari dd ---------- > De: Falconiart (AT) aol (DOT) com > A: COM: Nrsimha Kavaca (das) IDS <Nrsimha.Kavaca.IDS (AT) com (DOT) bbt.se>; COM: JPS Istagosthi (disciples and followers) <JPS.Istagosthi (AT) com (DOT) bbt.se>; COM: (JPS Sisya Samuha) JSSS <JSSS (AT) com (DOT) bbt.se>; COM: (Krsna) Katha <Katha (AT) com (DOT) bbt.se> > Asunto: Re: Srimati Tulasi devi > Fecha: Sábado 2 de Enero de 1999 07:00 > > [Text 1983406 from COM] > > In a message dated 1/2/99 1:41:59 PM Eastern Standard Time, > Sridhari.JPS (AT) com (DOT) bbt.se writes: > > << > Date: 1/2/99 1:41:59 PM Eastern Standard Time >> > Dear Sridhari i am sending to you some says of Srila Prabhupada about Tulasi > devi- when I find some informations that i used to have I will send to > you.Where are you located? In acold or hot weather?Well,.. > SKANDA PURANA- > Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the tulasi tree ,wich can > immediately vanquish volumes of sinful activities.Simply by seeing or touching > this tree one can become relieved from all distresses and diseases.Simply by > offering obeisances to and pouring water on the tulasi tree, one can become > freed from the fear of the being sent to the court of Yamaraja.if someone > sows a tulasi tree somewhere, certainly he becomes devoted at the lotus feet of > Krsna.Whwn the tulasi leaves are offered in devotion at the lotus feet of > Krsna there is the full development of love of Godhead. > In your service, > Isani dd
Guest guest
Dear Sridhari Mataji Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Acaryapada! I would like to have it back, may be you know, if I'm not wrong it was about something of soap and others. I have been taught to use vegetable soap mixed with water to create a soapy water, which you can use a spray bottle to spray on Tulasi and then leave on for sometime (not too long say about half an hour) before washing it off with water. This deals with some insects but I am not sure if it will help you deal with the acaros. I also find that by daily spraying or bathing her leaves with water, this keeps Tulasi Devi healthy and clean and keeps most insects off. (I use the soft spray of the hose or large spray bottles with pumps that are more efficient, than just the normal spray bottles...but you may only need small bottles if your Tulasis are quite small) YOu also wrote: >I read the Tulasi book of worshipping, but there aren't details of how to deal with daily care. What do you mean by daily care, do you need the appropriate mantras for worshipping, or for example how much light and sun she should receive daily and the temperature she strives best in?.....Because i have some books too which i find useful which i could photocopy and send to you. >Here in Mendoza, summer is hot. about 35ºC and warm during the night. but winter are cold 0ºC and even less. I read that Tulasi devi can also do quite nicely inside if given a sunny spot inside. I find that Tulasi devi also appreciates it when when she gets "regulated" amounts of sunlight and if she stays in the same place where she receives the sunlight, just like when our bodies are healthier when we are regulated. Well I'm not sure if this helps, but I hope it does. All Glories to Srimati Tulasi devi!
