Guest guest
period 8 10:48pm -3:36am Midnight pastimes Continuing well into the night the Lord dances and dances with Nityananda Prabhu in the courtyard of Srivasa Thakura, surrounded by His most intimate associates. His ecstatic singing is accompanied by the devotees who are expert in playing very loud rhythms on the mrdanga drums. He wanders and dances with Gadadhara Prabhu in the most astonishing way throughout the night, untill just before dawn. Then He returns to His own home, where He retires ,until just before dawn. Then He returns to His own home, where He retires to His bedchamber and falls asleep.I thus meditate on the daily pastimes of Sri Gauranataraja. benefit of reciting this prayer Sri Gauranga, the moon over Navadvipa, is manifest in His own abode during eight parts of each and every day.His pastimes during these periods should be remembered by meditative devotees before they remember the simultanously occuring pastimes of Sri Krsna, the moon of Gokula. If someone lovingly reads or recietes the Lord's eternal daily pastimes as they are illuminated in the 10 verses of this prayer, then the Lord is immensely pleades with that person,by His own merciful compassion. I thus meditate on the daily pastimes of Sri Gaura chandra. End of Asthakaliya lila YS Payonidhi das
