How Lord Ananta got Lord Gaurangas darshan

On this auspiscious day of Lord Caitanyas appearenceday,one pastime that

should be mentioned is how Lord Anant a got Gaurangas darshan.

He went to see Lord Visnu,He asked Lord Visnu how He could go to Goloka

Vrindavana and see Radha-Krsna's pastimes.Lord Visnu chastised Him,that how

could He go,when neither Lord Siva nor Lord Brahma or He Himself could go,nor

Garbhodaksayi Visnu,nor Maha Visnu could go there.He then glorified Anantadev

for having such a desire,and told Ananta that only by obtaining the Gopis

mercy could He attain Radha Krsna's pastimes.

However without getting Lord Gaurangas mercy there is no way to obtain the

Gopis mercy.Therfore Lord Visnu advised Lord Ananta to worship Gauranga in

Navadvipa.He went there and performed austerities for 10.000

years,after that Lord Caitanya appeared to Lord Ananta.Anantadev offered

beautifull prayers to Gauranga,who was very pleased with Anantadev.

One of the prayers was:"O Lord Gauranga,o master of the demigods,o ocean of

mercy ,I desire to see You again in the form you manifested in

Vrindavana."Lord Caitnya answered His prayers with sweet words:"O sinless

one,Navadvipa is equal to Vrindvana.To show mercy to the living entities Sri

Radha created it long ago."

"O Lord as I do not leave Vrindavana to go to any other place,so I do not ever

leave Navadvipa."

"O king of serpents please describe all the pastimes I perform in Vrindavana

and Navadvipa kalpa after kalpa for the pleasure of the devotees."

Lord CAitanya told Him that in another kalpa Anantadev would become Gaurangas

elder brother in Vrindavana(Balarama).

And GAuranga told Him that later He would become Nityananda in Navadvipa.

Lord Anantadev has since glorified Lord Caitanya but never come to the end of

His glories,pastimes,mercy,personal beauty etc
