Guest guest Posted March 4, 1999 Report Share Posted March 4, 1999 Sannyasa is forbidden,because in kali yuga some sannyasis think they have become God.Daridra Narayana,etc like the mayavadi sannyasis. However vaisnava sannyasa is not forbidden.Especially if done for preaching,this kind of sannysa is allowed.Of course for the general people it is not recommended,as they go to Vrindavana and become socalled sannyasis and keep women.One of the synptoms of Kali yuga is that people change ashrama irresponsibel.One who gives up sannyasa and becomes a grhastha again is called a vantasi,someone that eats his own vomit.
