Fall of the Jiva & OOP

There are definitely both statements coming from authoritative sources: fall

and no fall. Interstingly, there is also a discussion about three different

phases of time in a book "Introduction to Pancaratra" by Rangachar:

1. material time,

2. spiritual time and

3. relatively eternal time in which the Supersoul (Aniruddha) operates.

(This book which seems very thoroughly researched otherwise does not give the

Sanskrit or the references in this instance and the author is deceased.) My

understanding is that the soul has been bound literally eternally (not

figuratively) from the perspective of ordinary material time. And from the

perspective of one of the other two phases time there is an actual fall. This

view seems consistent with Bhaktivinode's statements in Jaiva dharma that the

issue involves understanding about cit and acit time and with

Ravindrasvarupa's BTG essay where he says that the story of the fall spans

two types of time.

The OOP book however does not acknowledge more than one type of time.

Therefore in an attempt to harmonize "fall" and "no-fall" within the framework

of material-linear time, the authors are forced to interpret "anadi" as

figurative. This is not consistent with this Pancaratra discussion or with

Ravindrasvarupa's discussion, maybe not even with Jaiva dharma, and is

therefore unconvincing. Any comments?
