If one can be just a well wisher that will help. Unfortunately your frend is not only one, there are so many of them some of them are senior some of them are even born in ISKCON, but we have to understand also that we are all diferent personalities and we all have deferent capacity. So we all will achive diferent levels in our own spiritual life. It's not that everione can become pure devotee in this life. We have to work hard on our selfs and help each other. If someone is in such state of minde it's not so helpful to preach hard. We can preach with our own example, we can simpli invite a frend for a diner(prasadam) that would halp. Just give a nice frendly asociation. If we cen purify people on the strit in BD just by seeng them day after day and get them buy the book we can help a friend to recover his purity and get back on Srila Prabhupadas road.
