Hare Krishna. Everybody wants to claim Sridhara Swami as their own,

thus the controversy. However, Srila Prabhupada accepted him

as a Vaishnava and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta considered him to be

of the Vishnu-swami sampradaya. That's sufficient for us.

 

I have heard that there are also explicit evidences; for example,

Sridhar Swami's acceptance of the reality of the world, of

Deity worship, of devotional service as the means and end, of

specifically worshipping Lord Nrsimha, etc.

Madhvacharya only commented on selected verses of the Bhagavatam --

the supposedly more difficult ones, so that way his disciples could

figure out the easier ones on their one by following his lead on the

difficult ones. So, his Bhagavata-Nirnaya isn't considered a full

Bhagavatam commentary.
