All printed versions of this text, that I have seen, are without reference to any author. There are a couple of other Gita Mahatmyas: 1. In the Varaha Purana. Lord Varahadeva speaking to Mother Earth. These are 23 slokas. 2. In the Vaisnaviya-tantra-sara, 84 slokas 3.
