Hare Krishna. I find the above questionable; there is no relation between Ekadashi and what can be _offered_ to Krishna. Krishna is offered grains and beans on Ekadashi as well, since He is zuddham apApa-viddham. Ekadashi is meant for us, not Him. So, if something (whatever it may be) can be offered on some other day, it can also be offered on Ekadashi. Yours, Vijay S.
