In fact He is the first Deity seen when entering the temple complex. This does not disqualify them from being devotees of Srila Prabhupada too. There is wonderful book by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan about Lord Venkateswara's glories in different puranas and maybe even prayers which i have at home. There is also a Venkateswara Suprabhatam which is very widely available,at least among South Indian temples in the US. I would guess that the Bangalore pujaris chant this regularly. they may > have some book with prayers.Unfortunatly this deity is mostly worshipped with> persons that wants something material in exchange, > as such such prayers have zero value for someone aspiring for pure devotion. There is no reason to assume that prayers that are offered to Lord Venkateswara are of a karma-kanda nature, even though the motives may be of that nature. I am sure a large number of people enter ISKCON temples too with desires for material benediction. The bigger ISKCON gets, the more such people will come. This does not disqualify it as a spiritual institution. Similarly there is no reason to deride the prayers offered to Lord Venkateswara.
