There's one place in the CC Adi First volume that makes it seem as though Sesa is a Vishnu tattva quoting Laghu Bhagavatamrta. But actually the LB is saying Sesa-sayi or Garbhodakasayi Vishnu is the Vishnu tattva. Ananta-Sesa is a saktyavesa according to CC. In a CC Madhya 20 quoted partially above, Sesa and Ananta are called saksad-avataras, while Kapila and Rsabha are called bhagavadavesa, and still others like Prtha are "regular" saktyavesa avatars. Does anyone have any insight on the distinction between these terms? It is interesting to note that Kapila and Rshabha always refer to themselves as God (unlike other saktyavesas), although according several sources, they are not personally God. ys Gerald Surya
