Guest guest
Dear respected devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Recently, in the temple here, there was some discussion about different concocted rasabhasa mantras like (Nitai-Gaur Radhe Shyam, Hare Krsna, Hare Rama). During this discussion one devotee said that Prabhupada didn't like the devotees chanting (Gaura-Nityananda bol, Hari bol, Hari bol) and that he even stopped Visnujana Swami's kirtans when he would chant this mantra. This devotee also recounted that Prabhupada used to chant Bhaja Sri Krsna Caitanya etc. for the Panca Tattva mantra, and that Prabhupada later stopped chanting Bhaja Sri Krsna-Caitanya and started chanting Jaya Sri Krsna Caitanya. The devotee suggested that Bhaja gives a sahajiya feel to the mantra. Is there any substance to these claims? Any standards to follow in regards to chanting these mantras? Eagerly awaiting your reply, Your servant, Matsya Avatara dasa.
