Guest guest
Perhaps someone has more stories to tell, re Srila Prabhupada commenting on Gaura Nityananda-bol? The latest two texts, although both on the topic, present two different ways to see the thing. Something to be considered in the Kirtan-rules quote is that it was a mangala-arati. And we know there's even a standard melody for mangala-arati, what to speak of songs. Whereas in the others there is more room for singing according to the kirtan-leader's inspiration. The problem is always that it's hard to deduct an absolute principle or standard from an occasion in which there might have been so many things effecting the conclusion. That's something we often see being done. So-and-so back then said to such-and-such this-and-that, and therefore you should... Recognize that one? ys. ekatma das. ps. dear Bhagavat-purana prabhu, what's the place and year for the conversation? To make the quote complete.
