Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

On page 195 of HH Sivarama Swami's 'Venu Gita' it says "Wrapping the thumb

of his right hand around his brahmana tread,".

 

Although I cannot envisage a time when I may wear such a brahmana thread, I

am still curious as to the wording above. I would expect it to be the thread

that is wrapped around the thumb. Please could one of the learned scholars

present enlighten me on this point.
