Guest guest
from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati: "It is the jivas who are attendants in His [Krishna's] Sports. They become attached to matter having deviated from their own essential nature as the result of their desire for enjoyment. But when again the soul of a jiva gains true wisdom of the transcendental region of God..., he begins to get back his pure essential nature gradually." (Sri Caitanya's Teachings, p.323) "Sri Radhika is the Source of all individual souls whose function is to be employed in the service of Sri Krishna by the alternative methods [of] loyal conscious submission, neutrality or actual opposition. The individual souls serve Sri Krishna as constituents of Sri Radhika. When they forget that they are constituents of Sri Radhika they forget the nature of their own selves, and engage in the abnormal activities of the mundane world." Guest guest
[Text 84191 from SOCHI] > Bellow is a part from the Brihad-Bhagavatamrita which may clarify the > issue, translated by Kusakrath Prabhu. > Please pay attention to the last verse, "Having attained me, a friend more > dear than life HE HAD NOT SEEN FOR A LONG TIME..." Here is the same verse from a different translation (by Prema-Vilasa das). "76. At that time Sri Krsna treated me as a friend more dear than His own life whom He was meeting again after a very long separation. Grasping my hand with His left lotus hand, He began asking after my welfare in various ways. Then, giving divine pleasure to all of the resi- dents of Vraja, swaying like an intoxicated elephant He entered the village of Vraja." So if we want to be conclusive on this one we will have to consult an unbiased sanskritist.
