This is yet another attempt to make the *cit-kala*, the spiritual time, subject to our material calculation. The measured material time is not in a comparative relation to the spiritual time. The amounts of time in the spiritual world are always of the lenght that is optimal for enhancing the rasa between Krishna and His devotee. Thus someone may be absent just for a mere blink of an eye, and someone may be missing for months. Whether it be absence of the lenght of a blink of an eye, a little manjari lost in the forest for a day or two, or a cowherd boy absent for a long time in his journey, this is the purpose. Imagine the bliss of Krishna and His associates, as the joyful reunion takes place. Even the whole "falldown" (which is not an actual falldown) thing is meant only to increase the ocean of blissful rasa pervading the whole spiritual world. ys, ekatma das.
