Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Hare Krishna. Please accept my obiesances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. [Rant mode on] Why is it that these philosophical deviations require such lengthy treatises to support themselves, when the opposing argument can be stated in a sentence or two? Srila Prabhupada was very clear about associating with his Godbrothers: "Don't do it." He was equally emphatically clear about rasika bhava: "Don't do it." Reinitiations? "Offense, unless the first Guru has fallen." What more do we need to know? Why do these guys think we need a 400K document, hundreds of pages, to explain why we should disregard these instructions? Who do they think they're fooling? Srila Prabhupada explained Parampara: "The discipe becomes the menial servant of his Guru. In time, that disciple also becomes guru, as his menial service to his guru. He does it in all humility, as a service, not because he wants glorification or followers or money. He makes disciples and they in turn become gurus. Bas. Four sentences. Anyone with a brain and a Bhagavad Gita can figure it out. Another thing I've noticed. The people who support Prabhupada's philosophy (as briefly noted above) tend to explain things in clear, concise, logical terms. They make sense. They are the people whose intelligence and behavior I respect. On the other hand, the people who put forth Ritvikism, Narayana Maharaja, Poison purana, etc, they speak in circles. They use word jugglery. They misquote. They tell outright lies. They write enourmous treatises supporting their bogus viewpoint, using intellectual cheating techniques which are barely above the level of a publisher's clearinghouse sweepstakes mailing. Their writings are an insult to the intelligence of any thoughtful person. Who are these people who produce this stuff? Who do they think they are fooling? I can't understand their position, but I've got this to say: You guys aren't fooling *me*. You are _really_ annoying me though.
