(2) j…va-svar™pa-sambandh€bhidheya-prayojan€n k€yati varŠayat…ti j…vakaƒ: "One who explains the nature of the j…va, his relation with the Lord, the process by which he can achieve the ultimate goal of life, and also that ultimate goal-such a person is j…vaka." (3) j…vayati j…v€n kŠa-prema-prad€neneti j…vo, j…va eva j…vaka iti sv€rthe kan: "One who infuses life into living beings by giving them love of KŠa is j…va or, equivalently, j…vaka." (4) Finally, the word j…vaka may also be formed by applying to the root j…v the suffix -aka in the sense of "blessing."
