Kamyavan Parikrama (Exterior)

 

The Parikrama party visited the beautiful Bhajan Kutir of Prabodhananda

Sarasvati Thakura. At the same place there is also Surabhi Kund, which was

filled with lotus flowers with kadamba trees near by. Of course it is not

the season now. The place of this bhajan kuthir is a very important factor.

 

Prabodhananda Sarasvati Thakura came in contact with Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

in Sri Rangam. It was caturmasya, the Lord was residing in the house of

Bankabhatta. You can imagine what it must have been like having Caitanya

Mahaprabhu as a guest for 4 months, how deep, how close they were to

Mahaprabhu. This family was very pious and religious and they were

worshiping Laksmi-Narayan. By this close association with Mahaprabhu all the

family were converted.

 

He had written volumes about Mahaprabhu and Vrindavan. He was saying: "I was

cheated, I was cheated, I have no doubt about it, look at this world of this

Gaudiya Vaisnavas. While they were swimming in the nectar of love of

Godhead, I did not got one drop of this nectar. Before coming in contact

with Mahaprabhu, I was cheated."
