This is one of the more important kunds of Vraja. The devotees enjoy swimming, and the quite atmosphere of this place. This year, one sadhu has left his body, and a 24 hours kirtan had been performed for 16-days. Here is the story of this kund. This kund is named after King Bimal. He was married to 6,000 queens. All these queens begot thousands and thousands of daughters. At a marriageable age, these young beautiful princesses have no desire to marry anyone from their countries, because previously during the time of Lord Rama they had become attracted to Him, desiring Him as their husband. But because of a vow to marry only Sita Devi, Sri Rama could not satisfy their desire. Instead, the Lord promised that He would marry them in Kali yuga. So, these ladies now appeared as the daughters of King Bimal. While they were dancing with the Lord, their bodies were perspiring and tears were coming from their eyes. This Kund was formed from the perspiration of their bodies and the tears of their eyes. Mal means dirt, and bimal means free from dirt. This water which is uncontaminated is completely pure. It is not mundane water made with oxygen and hydrogen. The body of the gopis is not made with material elements, it is all spiritual. As we take bath in this Kund transcendence is entering our soul to purify our existence. In the Kamyavan forest Kamesvara is also residing here. Kamesvara is a name of Lord Siva. He is serving the dhama by keeping bad elements out, and by maintaining some laws and order. Siva is rendering service to the Lord. We also pray to Siva to get some service and some drop of Krsna prema. That Lord Siva could give us, we do not approach lord Siva to get any material things.
