( I recollect six types on Teachings of Lord Caitanya) Can someone > enlighten us? Laghu-bhagavatamrta 1.4.46-7: With the eye of the scriptures the prabhava-avataras are seen to be two kinds. The first kind is briefly manifest and not very famous. Among them are Mohini, Hamsa, and the yuga-avataras beginning with Sukla. The second kind are authors of scriptures. Generally they are great sages. Among them are Dhanvantari, Rsabha, Vyasa, Dattatreya, and Kapila. Seems like Sukla is both yuga and lila avatar. Any confirmations? > Is memory correct that Prshni-garbha is the red incarnation of the Lord? > Which yuga did he come in and which category of avatara is He? There is no mention in the Satvata Tantra nor Laghu-bhagavatamrta about red color of Prsnigarbha. Btw, both of these books are available in this file area.
