Guest guest
Was there a Srila Prabhupada letter (to Hansaduta?) saying for devotees to have kirtana during the aratis in the day also, something to the effect that there was no point to have the arati without kirtana? Did Srila Prabhupada authorize the chanting of slokas in kirtana? Is it correct that once he was teaching devotees verses to chant in kirtana from Sri Isopanisad (?). Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura writes in his Madhurya Kadambini that devotees should not judge a kirtana by its musical merits. What is that reference? Bhaktivinoda Thakura's stated that in kirtana, any instrument is acceptable according to local use. What is that quote? Did Srila Prabhupada say that kartalas should be chimed sweetly, to sound like gopis' ankle bells?
