I approached a lady who was walking with her five year old son. I showed

her the Science of Self Realization, and she gave it to her son to look at.

When he saw the picture of Srila Prabhupada, he told her mom, pointing to

SRila PRabhupada "Momy, this is our BEST friend!" After she bought the book

from me, she confided to me that neither she nor her son had ever seen nor

heard of Srila PRabhupada. Srila PRabhupada ki jay!!

 

"This, our book distribution is the most important task in our

society. THerefore I am giving so much stress and I am working so hard on

this. Because this is my life and soul according to the order of my Guru

Maharaja. And by his grace it is to some extent successful. And I took it

seriously. I take it seriously now. That is my life and soul."

 

As His Holiness Devamrita Swami said yesterday in his lecture in LA, Book

distribution is not a fad from the seventies. It is always "our most

important activity."
