My understanding was that the SB has 335 chapters, and this is clearly

stated in many places, including in the Bhagavatam commentaries of our own

acaryas, Jiva and Sanatana Goswamis (10.12.1). I have never personally

counted to check.

 

One may also need to be aware that a few acaryas (mailnly from the Vallabha

sect) only count 332 chapters. They do not count SB canto 10 chapters

12-14, and thus their chapter 12 is everyone else's 15 and so on.

P.S. if you need more details you may like to consult the appendix of Satya

Narayana's Tattva-sandarbha which has a very thorough discussion of this

topic in English. Before I get in trouble I should warn you that his book

is not condoned by our GBC, because of the book's position on jiva. But

the appendix has nothing at all to do with that controversial subject, so

if you want to try being like a swan, just read the appendix (but only the

appendix...

There are a total of 11,555 verses: 2,311+6,016+3,228

 

The count differs from manuscript to manuscript. My figure is based on the

BBT edition. Some editions give separate counts for Bengali and Sanskrit

verses.
